Welcome to Old Farm Holiday Cottages!

Set in the beautiful Scottish Borders, we are wonderfully located for you to discover all that this fantastic area has to offer. 

Our cottages are set in lovely rural surroundings, in the peaceful and private location of our old family-run farm, on the edge of the village of Chirnside, Scotland. This idyllic setting provides views over to the Cheviot Hills, where you can unwind and enjoy your holiday. 

We have 3 lovely cottages to choose from, all family-friendly and beautifully decorated and equipped for you to have a wonderful stay. Each has its own garden, and plenty of space outside the cottage to walk or let the kids play in our fun play area. We have our shetland pony, whos always waiting for a pet!

Stays in Scotland have so much to offer, from great local food, produce, and some beautiful walks locally, and the Berwickshire coastline is just ten minute drive. Plenty of secluded beaches and better-known ones such as Coldingham Bay- award-winning for its clean waters and one of the Scotsman's best Scottish beaches.  St Abbs is close by with a marine reserve & charming harbours or Eyemouth and Dunbar, and plenty of stunning walks with fresh coastal air. Holy Island is a short drive away, where you can spend hours exploring, just remember to check the tide as this is a tidal island and you don't want to get caught out!

For family days out there's East Links Family Park, a traditional mini train at Heatherslaw railway, Foxlake adventure water park, Paxton House, Alnwick Castle and Gardens and many more, or simply enjoy one of the amazing local beaches and learn to surf with St Vedas Surf School. 

For keen road cyclists, there are many great cycling road routes- the Tour of Britain passed through our village in 2022 and we have secure bike storage on site.  

On those days of not exploring, our three fantastic cottages are well equipped, ready for you to relax and unwind.  With 42in TV and DVD player, DAB radio, comfy sofas, hotel-style beds, great kitchens, and a wood-burning stove in our larger cottages and if you're staying in Northend you get the luxury of a roll-top bath!
